As Tax Analytics Manager with Specialty Tax Group, Robert leads our Cost Segregation and Fixed Asset Review practice. Since joining STG in 2021, he has worked closely with commercial real estate investors and business owners to help maximize tax savings through accelerated depreciation strategies. Robert earned his degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in economics from Georgia Institute of Technology. His analytical mindset and attention to detail allow him to break down complex tax code into practical solutions.

Why did you choose to work at STG?

I was drawn to STG because of the opportunity to be part of a team that values both technical expertise and client relationships. I wanted to be in a role where I could apply analytical thinking in a meaningful way and collaborate closely with clients to help them achieve measurable results.

Describe your work style.

I’m highly organized and detail-oriented. I like to approach projects with a structured plan, but I stay flexible enough to adapt when new information or client needs arise. I value clear communication and follow-through, especially when managing complex engagements.

What do you consider to be your best quality?

Reliability. Whether it's meeting deadlines, delivering high-quality work, or supporting my team, I take pride in being someone others can count on.

What was your first job?

My first job was with Joey's Balloon Company, an unconventional start that taught me the value of customer service, time management, and showing up with a positive attitude, no matter the task.

What is the best restaurant you've ever eaten at?

KPOP BBQ and Bar. I’m a big fan of Korean barbecue and enjoy the experience of sharing good food in a lively, interactive setting.
