Chase Garrett

Chase Garrett is a Tax Staff member at STG with a focus on Site Selection, Discretionary Tax Incentives, and Transfer Pricing. In his role, he is responsible for day-to-day financial analysis, report generation, project management, and business development.

Before his current role, Chase led projects in change management, financial reconciliation, and portfolio management. He was responsible for market research, data transformation, KPI definition, and organizational communication.

Chase received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics and a concentration in International Trade from The University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business in May of 2025.

1. What are you most excited about in your role at STG?

At STG, I am most excited to develop deep expertise in my service lines and benefit our group’s clients with the diverse, complementary services at our disposal.

2. What is your favorite aspect of the work you do?

What I find most meaningful in my work is equipping clients with the assurance that their pricing and investments are both defensible and optimized.

3. How would you describe your work style?

My work style is principally cooperative. Every engagement has stakeholders chasing their own objectives, and the best outcomes come from establishing mutual understanding and aligning everyone around shared goals.

4. What do you consider to be your best quality?

If I had to name my best quality, it's persistence. I was raised on the notion that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and I seldom take no for an answer.

5. When you’re not working, what can you usually be found doing?

Outside the office, you can usually find me pulling the perfect espresso shot, tinkering on my car, hiking a new trail, or shopping for and polishing shoes.
